Brown Rice vs White Rice

I LOVE rice! Most of my life I only ate white rice. Years ago, I thought that brown rice and white rice were two different kinds of rice. Besides, that brown rice was only eaten by those “twigs and berries” people! Then I became one of those “twigs and berries” people and it turned out I was wrong on all counts.

White rice is milled brown rice that has its’ husk, bran and germ removed. It is then polished which gives it its’ bright shiny look.

Unfortunately, this milling process also removes most of the nutrients;
67& of B3
80& of B1
90& of B6
50% of Manganese and phosphorus
60% of iron
50% of the fiber and essential fatty acids
